Conclusion Overall, we learned much about Star Pharmacy on how it operates its dynamic and structured process, and the information systems used for the processes. Based on the information, we were able to identify the sources of issues within the current system and recommend a few changes to the procurement and patient prescription process. Team 5 recommends the implementation of the inventory software, InventoryX, and Med Central website as a collaboration tool for Star Pharmacy to improve the dynamic and structured process. InventoryX database software tool will enable the business to become more profitable and earn more value and the collaboration tool will enable the business to retain more customers through the user-friendly website and complete customer requests more effectively.
